The official trailer of the upcoming action thriller movie "Taken 3" has been released by 20th Century Fox on 30 September.
The action-packed trailer begins with a romantic sequence between the retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen), which does not last for long. When he returns home one afternoon, Mill finds Lenore lying dead on the bed and the Los Angeles Police authorities frames him as the murderer.
In the two-minute-30-second-long clip, the US police, FBI and CIA chases him and he cleverly escapes from all their traps.
The action thriller revolves around Mills' fight for justice and his efforts to protect his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) from the real culprits.
Neeson recently said he loves to do action sequences and praised his stunt coordinator.
"I have a great fight coordinator who is my stunt double too, Mark Vanselow. We've done 16 films now. We work very, very closely with each other. I don't do my own stunts, but I do my own fighting and stuff. I love doing that stuff. That's always fun to do," US Weekly quoted him as saying.
"Taken 3", which is stylised as "TAK3N", is directed by Olivier Megaton and co-written by Robert Mark Kamen as well as Luc Besson.
Besides Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Forest Whitaker, Leland Orser, Sam Spruell and Dogray Scott will also be part of the movie.
Meanwhile, "Taken 3" could be the last installment of the "Taken" saga. "It's a rollicking good story. But I think this is the end," Neeson told USA Today.
However, the 62-year-old actor made similar comment about "Taken 3" after the release of its second installment. "I don't think there'll be a 'Taken 3," he said, as per The Huffington Post.
The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on 8 January in the UK and on 9 January in the US.
