Earlier this year, a Malayalam movie starring Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Parvathy was announced. The makers have now revealed the title and first-look posters of the lead actors in the debut directorial venture of film editor Mahesh Narayanan.
Touted to be a romantic entertainer, Take Off will be narrated against the backdrop of certain serious incidents that take place in the lives of Keralite nurses due to the conflicts in Iraq. Take Off marks the maiden association of Kunchacko, Fahadh and Parvathy, and the movie is expected to discuss the serious issues faced in the Middle Eastern country.
Scripted by PV Shajikumar and Mahesh, the upcoming movie is being bankrolled by Anto Joseph and Shebin Bakker in association with Rajesh Pillai films, while Sanu Varghese of Vishwaroopam, Thoongaa Vanam and Wazir handles its cinematography. Take Off, which also stars Asif Ali in a significant role, is expected to hit the screens in January 2017.
Parvathy, who received the Kerala State Film Best Actress award for her performances in Ennu Ninte Moideen and Charlie, had no releases in 2016. The actress also has Roshni Dinaker's musical romantic entertainer My Story lined up for the year that marks her reunion with Prithviraj after the blockbuster RS Vimal directorial Ennu Ninte Moideen. Meanwhile, Kunchacko was last seen in Kochauvva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho and Maheshinte Prathikaaram was the last film of Fahadh.
