American telecommunication major T-Mobile has listed a number of HTC, Samsung and LG devices that will receive Android's latest v6.0 Marshmallow OS.
As per the official list, the company has confirmed Marshmallow will be released to Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, Note Edge, Galaxy S5, S6 , S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Tab S2.
As far as LG devices are concerned, G4, G3 and G Stylo, and Nexus 5 series will receive the new OS update.
HTC One M8, M9, Asus Nexus 7 (2013) and Motorola Nexus 6 are the other devices guaranteed to get Google's new sugar treat-flavoured mobile OS.
All the devices listed by T-Mobile are related to the US market only. The owners of the devices in other regions have to remain patient to hear it officially from the smartphone makers.
But, we like to assure our readers that the new update will certainly be released to these aforementioned devices, but it's just a question of when. All the smartphones revealed are only one/less-than-two-year-old devices and are obligated to get software support from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and Google.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with native support for fingerprint sensor input, leaner and faster Chrome browser, now on Tap feature, security feature, new contextual assistance feature, Google photos and auto back-up from where all app's user data (less than 25MB) will automatically be stored in Google Drive.

The key attribute of Marshmallow is the Doze power saving feature, which has been incorporated in the Android Marshmallow to extend battery life.
