Syrian President Bashar al-Assad claims famous bloodied Aleppo boy picture is fake
In a rare TV interview on 18 October, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad claims that the image of Omran Daqneesh, the rescued Syrian boy photographed in the back of an ambulance, is actually propaganda by the White Helmets. He says that the image is manipulated and the boy and his sister have been in other pictures being rescued.
