Season 4 episode 16 of ABC's "Switched at Birth" will be aired at 8.00 pm (EST) on Monday, 28 September. In the coming episode, we will see Daphne dealing with her parents' disapproval of Mingo and more importantly, Bay meets Tank for the first time after he got expelled.
In the previous episode, we saw Daphne (Katie Leclerc) form an unlikely connection with a volunteer in Mexico, but she refused to take it any further because she has a boyfriend back home. In episode 16 we will see Daphne introducing the said boyfriend Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch) to her parents, but she might be in for a lot of disappointment.
In the promo she asks how she can date someone who her parents hate, and is seen screaming at her parents to "Stop" when they would not stop coming at Mingo with pointed fingers.

While Daphne is trying to deal with what her future holds, her sister Bay (Vanessa Marano) comes face-to-face with her past, more specifically Tank (Max Adler). The last we saw Tank, he was expelled for raping Bay when she was black-out drunk at a party. Although Bay was not fully convinced that she was not at least a little responsible for what happened at the party, an official investigation found that Tank was guilty.
In the promo he is seen asking Bay if she knows what it is like to know that for the rest of her life, when someone searches her name, rape will come next to it. It also looks like Bay is moving on from Emmett, as she is seen in a date-like setting with a young man, when Tank bumps into her.
