American-based electronics company Swipe Telecom released a big-screen budget smartphone called Swipe 9X, in India on Tuesday.
Swipe 9X sports a FWVGA HD screen with 854x480p resolution and it runs on the Android mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It packs 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4GB internal memory with options of expanding up to 32GB through a T-flash card.
Considering the smartphone's price, Swipe 9x is one of the very few low-cost handsets in the Indian market that comes with an impressive 8.0-megapixel LED camera and a 2.0-megapixel camera on the front.
