Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who plays the role of Ragini in Colors' popular show "Swaragini", recently made news when reports of her quitting the show surfaced.
While Tejaswi didn't open up immediately on her decision despite confirming the news, in a recent interview with India-Forums, the gorgeous actress revealed the reason behind her taking the step.
Tejaswi said despite being promised a positive role by the makers, her character turned negative. With the channel and production house reluctant on changing her character, she was left with no option but to put in her papers.
"I was promised a positive role but it turned out to be something else. Also, the channel and the production team did not wish to change my character to a positive one, which left me with no choice but to take such a drastic step. They convinced me to do something I was not willing to do or did not sign up for," Tejaswi told the web portal.
Meanwhile, on the show, Ragini, who initially blamed Swara (Helly Shah) for having tried to kill her, has now realised it was Lakshya (Namish Taneja) who attempted to get rid of her. She is leaving no stone unturned to ruin Lakshya's life.
However, in the upcoming episodes, the lovebirds will be separated when Lakshya will try to kill Sanskaar. It has been reported that Lakshya will hire goons to kill Sanskaar, but Sanskaar will be saved by Ranveer Singh, who will be on the show to promote his film "Bajirao Mastani".
