Television heartthrob Varun Kapoor, who plays the role of Sanskaar on popular show "Swaragini," recently met with an accident while shooting for a sequence on the sets. According to the reports, the sequence required Varun to bang a door out of anger. But the actor, instead of hitting the door, banged on the glass attached to the door and hurt his wrist.
The shoot was stalled for a day and Varun was rushed to the hospital. "Yes, actually there was a scene in which I had to bang the door in anger. It was not coming out properly initially, then I used my full force and by mistake, banged the glass which was there on the door, and the glass piece went into my wrist. I was immediately rushed to the doctor and now it's fine," Varun told India Forums.
It's quite common for actors to get injured on the sets. In February, Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" also met with an accident on the sets. The actress was shooting for an action sequence where she had to hit a glass window, which would then shatter. But unfortunately, the safety glass placed behind the front glass broke when Divyanka hit it and the shards fell on Tripathi's back. Even the costume she was wearing tore and the actress started bleeding.
Meanwhile on "Swaragini," the entire Maheshwari family was impressed with Rajat (Mohit Abrol), who wanted to marry Uttara (Khyati Mangla). However, Swara (Helly Shah) was seen a little apprehensive of Rajat and suspected his behaviour.
On the other hand, in the show, Dadi was shocked to learn that Sharmistha (Parineeta Borthakur) was pregnant, considering she had grown-up daughter Swara. In the upcoming episodes, Rajat along with his fake father will plan to kidnap Swara as she has been posing a threat to his marriage with Uttara.
