After successfully launching the new S-Cross crossover in the Indian market, Suzuki's engineers are now reportedly gearing up to roll out the face-lifted avatar of SX4 S-Cross in the international market.
The folks at WorldCar Fans have shared probably the first ever spy shots of SX4 S-Cross, which was snapped while undergoing testing before its launch. In the images, the prototype of the new avatar of SX4 S-Cross was seen carefully covered, thus, not giving away too much details about the model. However, the car's front fascia seemed to have tweaked a bit with BMW-inspired Kidney-grille. At the back as well, SX4 S-Cross is likely to have some changes, though it is not clear from the images.
Under the hood, the face-lifted avatar of SX4 S-Cross international model is likely to continue with the same 1.6 petrol and 1.6 diesel motors that can churn out 120 PS of power and 156 Nm of torque, and 120 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque, respectively.
The face-lifted model could make its way into the Indian market as well, may be sometime in 2017. The India-specific S-Cross is now offered only in diesel engine options -- 200 DDiS 1.3-litre diesel motor that can churn out 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque, and 320 DDiS 1.6-litre diesel that is tuned to pump out 118bhp and 320Nm of torque.
While the DDiS 200 engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the latter gets six-speed manual transmission. The same engines are likely to power the S-Cross facelift too.
