Suzuki Motor Corporation has revealed its new updated S-Cross facelift to a select audience in Hungary ahead of its possible debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
The picture of Suzuki S-cross facelift has started doing the rounds, giving us an early glimpse of the model.
Shared by csiszigram, the pictures show the Suzuki S-Cross facelift in Blue body shade. Previous reports had said that the production of the Suzuki S-Cross facelift was already underway.
From the new images, the S-Cross seems to have received major upgrade at the front fascia with re-styled front bumper and larger radiator grille. The grille at the front now houses vertical chrome slats and new projector headlamps.
In the new avatar, the S-Cross is also expected to accommodate changes in the interior like new instrument cluster dials with MID and new seat upholstery with contrast stitching. There is also likely to be new interior colour combinations.
Currently, in the international markets, the S-cross is sold with the options of a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine. In the facelifted avatar, the S-Cross will also get Suzuki's 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol engine, which can churn out 139bhp of power and 220Nm of torque.
In India, the S-cross is likely to be sold with the same 1.3-litre and the 1.6-litre diesel engine, which does duty in the existing model. The S-Cross facelift is expected to come to the Indian market in 2017. The S-Cross is the first model in India to be sold through the Nexa, the premium dealership of Maruti.
