Suzuki Motorcycle India launched two new motorcycles GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F in India with price tags of ₹12.25 lakh and ₹12.7 lakh, respectively, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
Built on twin-spar aluminium frame, Suzuki GSX-S1000 naked and the S1000F are powered by 999cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline-Four engine mill, which does duty in GSX R1000. The engine has the capacity to churn out 44 bhp of power and 105 Nm of torque and the model features KYB inverted front forks and a single and link-type monoshock. Braking of both the models is taken care of by radial mounted Brembo monoblock calipers and Bosch ABS system.
In terms of dimensions, both the bikes measure 2,115mm in length, 795mm in width and 1,080mm in height. They come with a ground clearance of 140mm and feature LCD instrument cluster with odometer, dual tripmeters, gear position indicator ambient temperatures, fuel consumption, and a clock.
In India, Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F are available in two colours – Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Triton Blue
While the naked motorcycle GSX S1000 will be rivalling Kawasaki Z1000, BMW S1000R, and Honda CB1000R in India, the fully-faired GSX S1000F will take on rivals like Kawasaki Ninja 1000.
