Suzuki Motorcycle India has discontinued the white body shade of its popular bike Gixxer 150 in the country after introducing two new dual-tone racing colours to the model.
Suzuki Gixxer 150, the fifth most selling bike in its segment, is now available in six colour options, including the two new traditional racing colours: Metallic Triton Blue with Pearl Mirage White (BAQ) and Candy Antares Red with Glass Sparkle Black (APS). The monotone colour options are Metallic Oort Grey, Candy Antares Red, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue.
Powered by 154.9 cc four-stroke single cylinder air cooled engine, which can pump power of 14.8 PS @ 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6,000 rpm, Gixxer 150's new colours have been priced at a premium of Rs 1,000 on the current model -- which is priced at Rs 84,634 (on-road New Delhi).
The bike features fully digital instrument console, dual exhausts, telescopic forks at the front and single-shock suspension with swing-arm at the rear. The bike comes fitted with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litre.
