Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. has added two dual-tone shades to the popular Gixxer 150. The two new shades introduced are blue-white and red-black, which is inspired by Suzuki's traditional racing colours according to the two-wheeler maker.
Additionally, Gixxer 150 features clear lense indicator and new body graphics. Suzuki will also continue to sell the Gixxer in four monotone shades: grey, red, black and blue. The new shades of Gixxer 150 are available at a premium of Rs 1,000 over the monotone motorcycle, which is priced at Rs 84,634 (on-road New Delhi).
The motorcycle is powered by a 154.9cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, air cooled engine developing 14.5bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,000 rpm mated to five-speed transmission. The bike features fully digital instrument console, dual exhausts, telescopic forks at the front and single-shock suspension with swing-arm at the rear. The bike comes fitted with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litre.
Suzuki also sells the fully-faired version of Gixxer 150, dubbed Gixxer SF, priced at Rs 94,067 (on-road New Delhi). Seated on a wheelbase of 1,330 mm, Suzuki Gixxer SF measures 2,050 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1,035 mm in height. The bike has a kerb weight of 139kg and gets telescopic forks up front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear.
