The official brochures of Suzuki's upcoming offering in the 150cc segment Gixxer 150 have been leaked online, revealing the details of the bike.
Gixxer 150, a stylish motorbike from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has been trying the patience of two-wheeler lovers in the country since its first premier at Delhi Auto Expo 2014 alongside the Let's scooter.
The company officially opened the pre-launch bookings of Gixxer earlier last week and now ahead of its launch in the country, the brochures have also hit the web. Thanks to the good chaps at BikeWale for this latest scoop.
The Suzuki Gixxer will be getting its power from four-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled 155cc engine, which can churn out 13.94bhp of power and 14Nm of torque, mated to five-speed manual gearbox.
From the leaked brochure, it looks like Gixxer shares lot of similarities with its siblings like GSX-R sports bike.
It will come equipped with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, which would help the Gixxer to deliver better performance and fuel efficiency. The bike will feature telescopic forks at the front and single-shock suspension with an aluminium swing-arm at the rear and will also boast fuel tank capacity of 12 litre.
Gixxer will be available in five colours - metallic triton blue, oort grey metallic, candy antares red, peal mirage white and glass sparkle black. In terms of dimensions, the new 150 cc bike will measure 2,050 mm in length, 785 mm in width, 1,030 mm in height and will come with a wheel base of 1,330 mm.
We do not know yet the exact pricing of the bike in India, nor the brochure helps us to find that out. However, expect it to come around at ₹75,000.
As of now, Suzuki has not revealed anything formally regarding the launch of the bike, but the rumours on the web is that the Suzuki Gixxer will become official in the second week of August.
