Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne are reportedly heading towards a pricey separation.
The star couple was recently spotted acting cordial at their sons' school function and are said to have even hugged each other, instead of showing any awkwardness. However, the star wife is hell bent on taking the separation forward and that too at a price.
According to reports Sussanne has filed for a staggering ₹100 crore divorce settlement from Hrithik.
"Sussanne has asked for an amount as alimony. She feels that she has given some of her best years to Hrithik and his family and Rs 100 crore is not a huge amount. Also, part of it will be used for their children's education and upbringing. Negotiations are currently on between their lawyers. Time will tell what she receives," DNA quoted a source.
With Sussanne's pricey demand, it is obvious that the couple is nowhere near reconciliation.
Bollywood's illustrious family, Roshan's reportedly own over ₹5000 crore worth of property, of which Hrithik is the proprietor of around ₹1500 crore worth of properties alone.
With such astounding assets, it's inevitable that the Hrithik-Sussanne split is set to be one of the most expensive divorces of Bollywood.
While this might be one of the rare cases in Bollywood, Hollywood is quite used to these pricey divorces. Some of the costliest Hollywood divorces include actor Mel Gibson's separation from wife Robyn in 2009 (settlement $425 million), Arnold Schwarzenegger from Maria Shriver in 2011 (settlement $200 million), Steven Spielberg from Amy Irwing in 1989 (settlement $100 million) and Singer Madonna from Guy Ritchie in 2008 (settlement $71 million).
In Bollywood, Karishma Kapoor separated from husband Sanjay Kapur after settling on ₹7 crore, while Sanjay Dutt had to shell out ₹8 crore as settlement to ex wife Rhea Pillai. Even Saif Ali Khan's separation from first wife Amrita Singh is said to be one of the costliest divorces.
