Gorgeous diva Sushmita Sen has rubbished reports of animosity with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and expressed her eagerness on starring together for their upcoming film.
The former Miss Universe is all set to team up with Bachchan, who had shared the same pageant stage winning the Miss World title later.
The stunning ladies are soon to be seen in adman Prahlad Kakkar's directorial debut "Happy Anniversary," slotted to be a thriller, which is expected to be Bachchan's comeback film post daughter Aaradhya's birth in 2011. It will also will also mark Sen's return to the film circuit after years
Soon after the movie was announced, reports circulated of a probable cold war existing between the two actresses. The rivalry was linked to their early days, when Sen toppled Bachchan to win the top honour in the beauty pageant.
However, the 38-year-old has now refuted reports of tension and is eager to collaborate with the "Guru" actress.
"Aishwarya, I am looking forward to working with you! The truth is that Prahlad, Ash and I go back a long way... to our beauty pageant days. I've never known her well enough to call her a friend. But I think she is a great human being. In those days, our lives ran parallel. Later, we chose different paths. But there was no rivalry," Sen told Hindustan Times recently.
"I am superbly excited about Prahlad Kakkar directorial. We are working on it currently. This will be an outstanding film, provided we have all the right numbers in place. It's not a love story, but drama and very sexy thriller," the actress told DNA.
Apart from 'Happy Anniversary," Sen will also make her foray into regional film industry with a Bengali film and is also occupied with the launch of her new fitness concept "Aerial Silk."
