Sushant Singh Rajput has graced the cover for the October edition of Filmfare magazine, which gives an insight into his world and makes readers privy to recent B-town secrets.
Sushant is the new flavour of the season and he is on the top of everyone's mind for his brilliant performance in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. He has become the cover boy for the latest issue of Filmfare magazine. Its October edition spills the beans on his gut-wrenching story from being a backstage dancer at Filmfare Awards to being a new addition to the Filmfare family.
Jitesh Pillai, the editor of Filmfare magazine, is all praises for Sushant. "Sushant has been an actor to look out for. I remember watching him in his TV avatar and being impressed," Jitesh said.
"His dedication and sincerity even back then was appealing. Few thought he would do well on the big screen, dismissing him as a face suitable for TV," he added.
But Sushant didn't let his detractors get to him. Kai Po Che underlined the fact that 'TV face' or not, he could hit his critics out for a six when it came to delivering believable performances.
"India is a cricket crazy country and to perfectly execute the fan frenzy of a district-level player, who gets a chance to polish into an international quality sportsman seemed achingly real," Jitesh said.
Filmfare magazine has been a true guide to B-town's fun and frolic moments. Its October issue also comprises a heart-to-heart tete-a-tete with Sonakshi Sinha on her action-packed year with Akira and an interview with Karan Johar, who divulges some interesting pieces of tidings about his next flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
