Bollywood newbie Sushant Singh Rajput revealed that he is set to tie knot with Ankita Lokhande soon.
The "Kai Po Che" actor, who recently made the news for being slapped by his longtime sweetheart, dismissed the incident as fake as he revealed that a formal reunion is in the pipeline.
"We're planning to get married very soon, probably in the next few months. We've living in together for four years. Marriage seems like just a natural progression," the young actor said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama.
The former television star also seemed quite ecstatic on finding a new address in Malad with Ankita. "We moved into a new place on November 11. It's much more spacious than our old home. I've my own room for a home theatre and that's a big thing for me."
Reacting to the slap incident reports, Sushant asked, "Do you believe what you read and see? ...I know Ankita didn't hit me. But what's the point of clarifying when the damage is done? I guess this is the minus side of getting full credit for the success of a film even when you know there are many other factors that contributed to it."
Even Ankita refuted the reports of her slapping Sushant in front of the Yash Raj studios.
Both Sushant and Ankita kick-stared their careers on the same screen together. While Sushant's career took a steep turn with "Kai Po Che", Ankita remained with the television medium.
Sushant in extending support to his partner said, "Ankita is doing very well on television and she was offered a couple of very big films. But they didn't work out. She's very happy in her space. I also want to be secure and happy in what I am doing, just like her."
The couple is also planning to take a brief break to Thailand before Sushant begins shooting for Dibakar Banerjee's detective film "Byomkesh Bakshi".
