Fans of Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande can heave a sigh of relief. The couple, who was rumoured to have ended their six-year relationship, is very much together.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Ankita revealed that the rumours are baseless. "I don't know why everyone's speculating about our six-year relationship has ended and that we are no longer together. It's unnecessary and uncalled for. I am there with him as always, I love Sushant Singh Rajput unconditionally. These rumours are completely baseless and in bad taste," she said.
Clearing the air about her not accompanying Sushant on social gatherings, Ankita said that since she has fractured her foot, she has not been able to accompany him on events lately. The television actress further said that the break-up rumours hurt her as Sushant is a one-woman man and she has always admired him. "Such rumours hurt since I have always admired and respected Sushant for his loyalty and commitment. He has never played games with me. He has always been a one-woman man and I love my man," she added.
The 31-year-old actress also refuted rumours of her insecurity with Sushant's alleged closeness with Parineeti Chopra and Kriti Sanon.
Sushant and Ankita, who fell in love six years ago on the sets of their television show "Pavitra Rishta," are likely to get married in December this year. Talking about her wedding, Ankita said: "You'll definitely get invited to my wedding. As of now, all I can say is that anything that happens between us is our business alone. I can only assert that I love Sushant unconditionally and he, more than anyone else, knows it."
On the work front, Ankita said that she took a break from TV so as to make a career in Bollywood and is currently in talks over some projects.
