Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's Budapest diaries had sparked rumours of a possible affair; however, the buzz was laid to rest by the latter who confirmed that they weren't dating. Meanwhile, sources say they are planning to make their relationship official by the end of this year.
Now that "Raabta" (their first film together) shoot is over, the stars are apparently finding it difficult to spend time away from each other, Absolute India News reported. "Also, Kriti and Sushant have informed their parents about their love affair and even their parents are quite happy and comfortable with the new development in their children's life," the daily quoted an insider as saying.
One would think why make it official after denying it on social platforms? The source explained that Kriti and Sushant were keeping quiet all this while because they were waiting for the storm (kicked up by the actor's split with Ankita Lokhande) to settle.
Meanwhile, the ex-girlfriend seems to have moved on. Her selfies with television actor Kushal Tandon has got everyone talking. Speculations are rife that they could be dating.
In other news, Ankita and Sushant parted ways due to irreconcilable differences. In a tell-all interview with Mumbai Mirror, a common friend revealed that the "M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" star had tried his best to make his then-ladylove comfortable in every way possible.
Apparently, Sushant used to encourage Ankita to take up projects, which would help her hone her acting skills. He would always make it a point to hold her hand while making red carpet entries because he knew it made her feel special.
"He even told her that while he'd never flirt or date another woman, theirs was an open relationship and he would never question her on her whereabouts. But even that couldn't cement a bond that was slowly breaking. He couldn't convince her that nothing would go wrong," the friend further elaborated.
