Suriya's "Masss" has entered the final stages of the post-production works. The Tamil film is getting ready for getting censor board certificate this week.
Yuvan Shankar Raja completed scoring the background music for "Masss" a few days ago. Now, the DI work is in full swing. If the final stage of the post-production work consumes more time than expected, the Suriya starrer will go for certification next week.
The promotion of "Masss" has kick-started and is in full swing. From print to radio to online, the promotion team has a strategy to ensure wide publicity.
Apart from Tamil Nadu, "Masss" will be released in a big way in Andhra Pradesh where Suriya has a huge fan following. As a result, the actor will be promoting his movie equally in both the states. It is worth noting here the film is being released on a wider scale in Andhra Pradesh than Tamil Nadu.
Suriya will be travelling to Kerala and Karnataka to promote his film. Both Sopanam Films (Kerala) and Srikanth (Karnataka distributor) are releasing the film in huge number of screens in their respective states.
The Tamil film will also be released at overseas centres. An early estimation says "Masss" will release in about 1500 screens in two languages.
Venkat Prabhu is the director of "Masss". The film has been produced by Gnanavel Raja. The Tamil film has Nayantara and Pranitha in the female leads, and Parthiban, Samuthikirani, Jayaram, Premji Amaren and Riyaz Khan in the cast.
The movie is likely to be released on 29 May.
