Suriya's "Anjaan" has been censored with a "U" certificate and the film is all set to hit the screens on 15 August.
The film was censored in Mumbai and the censor board members seem to have enjoyed watching the film despite not understanding the language.
"Despite not knowing the language, the board enjoyed the entertainment in #Anjaan. Excited & happy. Get ready folks:-)," Dhanajayan Govind of UTV Motion Pictures, co-producers of "Anjaan", tweeted.
Directed by Lingusamy, "Anjaan" is deemed as a gangster flick with Suriya reportedly playing dual roles in the film. Samantha, Soori, Vidyut Jamwal, Dalip Tahil and Manoj Bajpai are also part of the film's cast. "
"Anjaan" audio, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and the teaser have generated a lot of positive buzz regarding the project. The film's trailer is all set to be released by next week, according to Dhananjayan Govind.

A lot is riding on "Anjaan" as it is a Suriya starrer. The actor's last release "Singam 2" was a big hit at the box office. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to continue his success streak with "Anjaan."
The film will reportedly be the only big Tamil entertainer releasing for the Independence Day. It is likely to take fantastic openings upon its release in Tamil Nadu. However, the film might be facing competition from other language releases including Telugu film "Rabhasa" and Hindi film "Singham Returns" in key foreign markets, where Indian films have a huge market.
"Anjaan" is also getting dubbed in Telugu and the film is titled as "Sikander." The audio launch of "Sikander" is all set to happen in a grand manner in Hyderabad on 31 July. According to reports, actors Kamal Haasan, Allu Arjun and Nagarjuna will be launching the audio of the film.
Earlier, there were reports that the Telugu version will be released along with "Anjaan." But latest buzz is that the film's release has been pushed by a week and it will be out in theatres on 22 August. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
"Anjaan" team is busy promoting the film to reach out to a wide audience. After the audio launch of the film's Telugu version, Suriya and director Lingusamy will be visiting Kochi in Kerala on 2 August and meet fans, media persons to introduce their film.
