Suriya's next film with director Vikram Kumar of "Yaarvarum Nalam" and "Manam" fame has been tentatively titled "24."
The film, touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, will have music by Oscar winner AR Rahman. Rahman will be working in a Suriya film for the third time after "Ayutha Ezhuthu" and "Sillunu Oru Kadhal".

Details about the film's other cast and crew members are still awaited. Earlier, there were reports that Catherine Tresa was approached to play the female lead opposite Suriya. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.
"24" is touted to be an action adventure film with all the commercial elements, including romance, sentiments, humour and action. The film's shooting is expected to commence after Suriya completes his current film "Masss."
The shooting of "Masss" is progressing at a brisk pace. The film, deemed as a horror comedy entertainer, is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Nayanthara plays the female lead, while Amy Jackson appears in a pivotal role.
According to reports, Amy will be seen in the role of a ghost. Premgi Amaren, who is a regular in all Venkat films, will be appearing in a supporting character, but, it is not confirmed yet. Yuvan Shankar Raja works on the soundtracks, while RD Rajasekhar takes care of the cinematography.
This is the first time that Suriya has teamed up with Venkat and there are huge expectations for the project. The first look poster of the film, which was released on the eve of Diwali, had received positive response from the fans.
Suriya's last release "Anjaan" was panned by critics and the audience alike. Fans of the actor will be hoping that he scores a big hit with "Masss." The film is slated to hit the screens next year.
