Suriya-Lingusamy's untitled film, which is all set to kick off on 15 November, will have the "Singam 2" actor in two different looks.
According to the film's director Lingu, Suriya will have a jagged look and another look in the action-adventure film. "Suriya will have two looks in the film. Presently, he is growing a beard for his character. He's still working on his appearance, and by the time we start shooting from next month, he will have a raw, jagged look. Apart from this, he will also have another look in the film," The Times of India quoted Lingusamy as saying.
Expectations for the film are quite high even before it could go on floors, thanks to Suriya and Lingu who are teaming up for the first time. Moreover, Suriya's last film "Singam 2" was a massive hit and fans expect his upcoming film with Lingu to be a sure-shot winner.
The yet-to-be-titled project will have Samantha of "Naan Ee" fame as the female lead and the music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
For the first time in the world, cinematographer Santhosh Sivan will be using high-end camera, "Red Dragon Digital", for the film. Santhosh did a test shoot of the Suriya starrer at Prasad Studio in Chennai.
"I want the technological advancement to first happen in Chennai and this is one such sign. Although the visual medium remains the same, such advancements in camera results in enhancing the pictorial details," Sivan said, talking about the high-end camera, according to Behindwoods.
Actor Suriya expressed his happiness on being a part of a project that has the likes of Santhosh Sivan. The actor was supposed to begin work for two projects - Lingu's and Gautham Menon's films. However, he opted out of Gautham's "Dhruva Natchathiram" citing that he did not get the complete script of the film from the director, despite waiting for over a year.
