South cinema is set to witness yet another classic combination. Reports are that Tamil star Suriya is set to team up with hit Telugu filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas. It is being said that the upcoming untitled film is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and the shooting of the film is scheduled to begin next year.
"Trivikram has already been given the advance for the project. It will go on the floor after Suriya completes shooting for his upcoming films '24', 'Singam 3' and a yet-untitled film with the 'Sathuranga Vettai' director," a source close to the development told IANS.
Sources close to the industry have said that both the actor and director are now looking forward to complete their other commitments before beginning their joint venture.
"His project with Trivikram will most likely go on floors mid next year. By then, he should be relieved off all his existing projects," the source said.
Considering the fact that Suriya is quite popular among Telugu audience and Trivikram being one of the best directors of the industry, trade experts believe that the upcoming movie will make a huge impact on the box office.
Meanwhile, Suriya is currently shooting for Tamil thriller "24" with "Manam" director Vikram Kumar and soon after this, he will begin shooting for "Singam 3" from September. At the same time, Trivikram is basking on the blockbuster success of his latest movies "S/O Satyamurthy" starring Allu Arjun and "Attarintiki Daredi" which starred Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
