Suriya-Lingusamy's new film is all set to go on floors from 15 November, according to latest reports.
After the super success of "Singam 2", Suriya's fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite star on the silver screen once again. It was earlier reported that the actor has signed up to play the lead role in Lingusamy and Gautham Menon's films. Both films have been delayed for unconfirmed reasons.
Apparently, Lingusamy's film will take off ahead of Gautham's project. The shooting of the yet-to-be-titled film will commence in November. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will team up with Suriya for the first time. The film, which reportedly belongs to the romance-action genre, will have Prakash Raj doing a pivotal role.
Director Lingu, who is currently busy with the pre-production work of the film, has roped in ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan to work as the cameraman. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the songs.
Confirming the news, Lingu told The Times of India, "We are planning to go on floors from November 15. The first schedule will take place either in Mumbai or in Hyderabad. While Santosh Sivan will work behind the camera, Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the score." Talking about the film, the director said, "Action will be an important ingredient in this film. I can assure Suriya's fans and the audience that they will not be disappointed."
This is the first time that Suriya will be working with Lingu, a successful director and producer known for his films including "Run", "Sandakozhi", "Paiyya" and "Vettai". Their new film is expected to have all the commercial elements that the makers believe should impress the audience.
