Suriya's film with director Lingusamy has been titled "Anjaan" (fearless).
"Anjaan" will be jointly produced by Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers and UTV Motion Pictures. This is not the first time that UTV has teamed up with the Thirrupathi Brothers. Earlier, both companies jointly produced Arya-Madhavan's "Vettai" and Vikram Prabhu's "Ivan Veramaathiri", which did well at the box office.
Expressing happiness over the association, G Dhananjayan, Chief - South Business, Studios, Disney UTV said in a statement, "We are extremely delighted to continue our strong relationship with N. Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers after our two successful films -Vettai and Ivan Veramaathiri. We look forward to working with South Superstar Suriya and are confident that the movie will be a huge mass entertainer and certainly one to look out for in 2014."

We value their support & understanding and happy to co-produce our next film Suriya's Anjaan with them. The studio brings in great professional support, marketing talent and distribution strength with which they back every movie."
"Anjaan", deemed as a mass entertainer, will have Suriya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. The film also boasts of an ensemble cast including Vidyut Jamwal, Manoj Bajpai, Brahmanandam and Dalip Tahil in pivotal roles.
The "Anjaan" team has already completed the first schedule in Mumbai and the second schedule is set to begin at the end of January in Goa. The entire film will be shot in locations outside Tamil Nadu. According to the director, "Anjaan" will be directed in "never seen before locations with huge sets and an ensemble of top artistes."
The Suriya starrer will have cinematography by cameraman Santosh Sivan, editing by Anthony and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
It is slated to release in both Tamil and Telugu languages in August 2014.
