A star-studded audio launch event of Prabhu and Kalidas Jayaram's upcoming Tamil movie "‎Meenkuzhambum Manpaanayum‬" (Fish Gravy and the Clay Pot) took place at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai on Saturday, May 28. The grand event was attended by Suriya, karthi, Prabhu, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu and many other celebrities.
After the event, the 1-minute-32-second trailer of the film was released on the YouTube channel of Lahari Music | T-Series. The audio and karaoke of four songs from the movie have also been released on the video-sharing website.
The comedy entertainer, written and directed by Amudheswar, has Ashna Zaveri opposite Kalidas, who is set to make a mark in the industry as a hero. Prabhu will be seen as Annamalai, who is a fish seller in Malaysia, while Kalidas and Ashna will be seen as lovers Karthik and Pavi. The movie also has Urvashi in a pivotal role, apart from the guest appearance of Ulaganayakan Kamal Haasan.
"‎Meenkuzhambum Manpaanayum‬" is being produced by RG Dusshyanth and Abirami Dusshyanth and is expected to hit the screens in June. Meanwhile, Kalidas' debut Tamil film "Oru Pakka Kathai" will also be released this year.
