The suspense over Suriya's next movie has come to an end with a formal announcement. Well, his next film will be directed by none other than Vignesh Shivan and produced by KE Gnanavelraja on the banner of Studio Green.
The makers of the film announced the news on Monday, Sep. 5 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. "Proudly announcing #Suriya35VigneshShivN @Suriya_offl @VigneshShivN @kegvraja @anirudhofficial @rajsekarpandian @StudioGreen2 @2D_ENTPVTLTD," the production house tweeted.
Vignesh Shivan shared his happiness on his next film by tweeting, "Elated&excited for #Suriya35VigneshShivN Wit @Suriya_offl sir @anirudhofficial @kegvraja @rajsekarpandian @2D_ENTPVTLTD @StudioGreen2. [sic]" "Let's make a memorable one! [sic]" Suriya responded to the young director.
Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to compose music and he announced, "Happy to join hands for the first time with @Suriya_offl sir and once again with my fav @VigneshShivN after #NRD #Suriya35 Love, Anirudh. [sic]" Vignesh Shivan welcomed him on board and thanked, "@anirudhofficial @Suriya_offl thank you my Kinggggg:)) without u couldn't have imagined any of this :) thank you sooo much! Owe u everythin. [sic]"
With this development, the rumours of Suriya's next film has been put to rest. It was reported earlier that Pa Ranjith and Muthiah were in the race to bag the actor's next film.
However, other details about the movie are yet to be revealed. But there are speculations doing rounds that Nayanthara might pair up with Suriya in the flick. It has to be noted that she is the rumoured girlfriend of Vignesh Shivan.
Vignesh Shivan made his directorial debut movie with "Podaa Podi," but it was last-year's "Naanum Rowdydhaan," which earned him a good name. He also pens lyrics and has written songs for many films.
