Sai Dharam Tej's "Supreme," featuring Rashi Khanna in the female lead, has received good response and witnessed decent collection at the U.S. box office in the premiere shows on Wednesday.

"Supreme" is the fourth movie of Sai Dharam Tej, young hero from the mega family. His previous releases have fared well at the U.S box office and hence, the overseas theatrical rights of his latest outing were sold for a record price. BlueSky Cinemas, which acquired its rights, has released the movie in over 70 screens across North America on May 5. (Check Supreme U.S.A schedule listâ€)
BlueSky Cinemas also held premiere shows of "Supreme" in several locations in the country on Wednesday night. The ticket pricing was $12 for adults and $8 kids in the premiere in all locations. The movie registered good response, which is said to be the biggest for a film featuring Sai Dharam Tej.
The distributors are yet to reveal the figures of its collection. If we are to go by the early estimates, "Supreme" has collected $16,699 from 47 screens at the U.S. box office in the premiere shows and the final number is expected to go up further. Midwest Movies, a film exhibitor from Ohio, tweeted, "#Supreme premiers reported gross $16,699 (47 locations), with the positive talk around should definitely do good business next few days."
Sai Dharam Tej's debut film "Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham" collected $53,714 (Rs 33.18 lakh) from 50 screens at the U.S. box office in its opening weekend. His third film "Subramanyam for Sale" broke this record by raking in $109,073 from 76 screens in the country in its opening weekend.

His latest "Supreme" has received decent talk from the audience in the country, who describe it as good treat for family. The word of mouth is expected to take its business upwards in the following days. The film is expected to do well at the U.S box office and become the biggest opener for Sai Dharam Tej.
