Sunny Leone is unapologetic about her past and is ready to move on in life, but looks like some of Bollywood's bigwigs aren't convinced about the kind of seriousness she can bring to her work in films.
A superstar told senior journalist Subhash K Jha how he rejected an opportunity to work with the actress, as he would have to be answerable to his wife for having taken the project up.
"I don't mind working with her. But I have to go home at the end of the shoot. Biwi ne manaa kiya hai," the star reportedly said. Also, reports were rife how not too many male actors are ready to share screen space with Sunny.
Ahmed Khan, who produced "Ek Paheli Leela", said the stigma has begun go away and will continue to fade once she chooses her films correctly. As for Sunny, all of what's going on in Bollywood doesn't bother her much.
"I honestly believe with time that will change. There are some great actors who will eventually see my seriousness to work. Until then, c'est la vie!," she said.
In other news, her "Mastizaade" has finally been cleared by the Censor Board and should be released soon. In the Milap Zaveri directorial, Sunny will be seen essaying a double role.
The thrilled star took to Twitter to express her excitement over the news writing, "Everyone who said to us it would not happen!! Well to all those, faith and determination and inner masti Zaade took over @MastizaadeFilm."
Sunny currently hosts "MTV Splitsvilla 8".
