A few hours ago, several reports had surfaced, especially on social media platforms that Superstar Rajinikanth is hospitalised due to various health issues. The news spread like wildfire on the internet, and many fans even started praying for the wellbeing of the actor. But now, a close source to Rajinikanth has dismissed all these rumours and has made it clear that the Superstar is fit and healthy.
In a recent talk with Times of India, Riaz K Ahmed, Rajinikanth's publicist requested his fans not to believe the rumours that are spreading on the internet about the Superstar's health. Riaz also added that Rajinikanth will soon attend an event in Chennai which will be organised by his wife Latha, on behalf of Daya Foundation.
To make things more clear, Riaz later tweeted regarding Rajinikanth's current health status.
"There are rumors being spread regarding Superstar Rajinikanth's health, stating that he's been hospitalized. There is no Truth to this. Rajini Sir is healthy & doing well. Therefore, I request you all to not spread the word further. Thank you," tweeted Riaz.

Rajinikanth's most-anticipated flick '2.0' which will be a sequel to 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' will be released on November 29. The film directed by Shankar is made with a budget of more than Rs 600 crore, thus becoming the costliest movie ever made in the Indian film industry.
