While fans seek a glimpse of Superman Henry Cavill in Justice League updates, the actor has been giving the world snaps of himself shooting in Paris. While filming Mission: Impossible 6 with Tom Cruise, the actor finds time during the shoot break to explore the city.
During one of his expeditions, the Man of Steel reached an exhibition on Art of DC - Dawn of the Superheroes in Paris. And the actor took quite a number of pictures with Batman, and also posed with Green Lantern.
The one-of-its-kind exhibition has been organised with the sole aim of celebrating DC's rich history. It highlights unique mythologies and aims to help fans understand the world of DC comics better. The exhibition features a wall of fame for the Justice League team, iconic superheroes and super-villains, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Joker.
Cavill posted pictures from his trip to the exhibition on Instagram. The images show him pose with Superman, Batman, the Batmobile Bike and Green Lantern. He also shared a few comic strips displayed at the event.
Sharing the photos with fans, the actor wrote:
"I had the good fortune to visit the Art of DC - Dawn of the Superheroes' exhibition in Paris the other day. It was a fantastic opportunity to see the evolution of the most well known DC Superheroes. The incredible talent of some of the more prominent artists over the years is proudly on display along with the actual costumes from movies past and present. Without the great minds and talents of those creators, artists, inkers and filmmakers we would be missing a major part of today's modern pop culture. Thank you to them all!"
The exhibition is showcasing original drawings featuring popular superheroes and villains as well as iconic scenes created by renowned artists, including Jim Lee, Bob Kane, Neal Adams, Frank Miller, Alex Ross and others.
Cavill is occupied with the sixth edition of Mission: Impossible where he plays a key role alongside Cruise. Not many details about his role have been disclosed but the actor is in a new avatar in the movie, and will be seen sporting a moustache. The film is slated for release next year.
The actor will fly in high in Justice League, that is releasing on November 17. More details about his role in the DC movie are awaited.
