The anticipation of players waiting for the release of Super Smash Bros 4 for Wii U finally comes to an end. Wii U version of the game offers fans a full HD game, a feature that did not exist in the game's 3DS version.
Super Smash Bros 4 for Wii U and 3DS have similar characters and modes, however, the Wii U version will have new levels added to the game modes.
Many characters can be unlocked as players proceed in the game but the below content guides you on the unlockables for secret characters and stages. Players can play more matches to unlock characters. But most of the characters will be out in 10 matches and these have a 100 match cap.
Below is the guide on how to unlock secret characters:
Falco - Play 10 matches in Smash Mode or finish Classic Mode on any difficulty
Wario - Play 20 matches in Smash Mode or finish 100 Man Smash
Lucina - Play 30 matches in Smash Mode or finish Classic Mode on 5.5 difficulty or higher
Dark Pit - Play 40 matches in Smash Mode or All Star Mode on Normal difficulty
Dr Mario - Play 50 matches in Smash Mode or complete a hard level ticket in Master orders
R.O.B. - Play 60 matches in Smash Mode or finish at least 10 turns
Mr. Game and Watch - Play 80 matches in Smash Mode or finish Classic Mode with 5 different characters
Duck Hunt - Play 100 matches in Smash Mode or get at least one KO in a single Solo Cruel Smash
How to Unlock Stages in Super Smash Bros 4 for Wii U
Unlike character unlocks, in order to unlock the Stages in Super Smash Bros 4 for Wii U, players will have to meet some specific conditions, like the ones below:
Kong Jungle 64: Clear the event The Original Heavyweights in single player Event Match.
Duck Hunt: Get at least 1 K.O. on a single Solo Cruel Smash.
Pokemon Stadium 2: Clear the event, Lighting Strikes in single player Event Match.
Smashville: Clear the event, Playing the Tricks in single player Event Match.
Flat Zone X: Play alone as Mr Game and Watch, and destroy 100 blocks in one game of Trophy Rush.
Pac-Land: Play all the Smash Tour maps.

How Wii U and 3DS Connect
Masahiro Sakurai, director, Smash Bros for Wii U has explained how Wii U and 3DS versions will connect. He said in Miiverse, "You'll need to link the 3DS version to the Wii U version to get them to work together. Luckily, this is easy. On the 3DS version, you simply select the Wii U option, and select the 3DS option on the Wii U version."
The Wii U version will have a 3DS controller activation screen and when connected, 3DS version will open a screen that will ask if the customised characters have to be copied.
Mewtwo to be Last Premium DLC
Mewtwo is a DLC that offers a rare Pokemon character with the same name, however, this DLC will be free only if players buy both Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. Meanwhile, it has said that the DLC will be purchasable for a premium for players who do not meet the criteria GameSpot reported.
Nintendo also said that, "There are no other plans regarding paid add-on content at this stage."
European owners who have both the version will be getting an exclusive physical double CD set with 72 songs from the game's soundtrack.
10 Million US Sales
Nintendo of America announced on Twitter that it has sold 10 million copies.

Super Smash Bros 4 for Wii U was released on 21 November, 2014 and Europe will be getting the game on 28 November, 2014. The 3DS version was released on 3 October, 2014.
