Here are the reviews of "Super Ranga" by various critics.

"The movie remained faithful to the original plot. The story is about a guy named Ranga (Upendra), who is never happy with the jobs he does. Ranga is a thrill seeking man and keeps switching jobs in search of finding adrenaline rush. Upendra is at his quintessential best in the movie. Know for his slapstick and dark sense of humor, Upendra bring life to the character of Ranga. Kriti Kharbanda plays her role as a glamorous heroine perfectly. The supporting cast has been chosen wisely. Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila do a commendable job as the comic characters in the story line."- Filmi Beat

"Although the movie is a remake, Sadhu Kokila has added some masala elements to make it more suitable to the Kannada audience. There are a couple of scenes which is very 'Uppi'ish. Upendra is talented and can pull of any role with ease and this he has demonstrated that in Super Ranga. Kriti has done her job well. Comedy is the key elements and a big plus in the movie." – The Hansinida.com

"The scenes are colourful and the contrast between Kriti's skin and the bright colours of the costumes are fully exploited. Yes, the locations are also chosen for their bright background colours. Cinematographer Ashok Cashyap does his best playing with colours. Among the comedy actors, Rangayana Raghu's character fails with overdone hamming while Sadhu Kokila, Doddanna and others manage their part more subtly." – Bangalore Mirror
