Actress Bhamaa has dismissed rumours about the reasons for opting out of the movie "Kranthi," saying it is because of "other issues" and not actor Sunny Wayne.
Earlier there were reports that Bhamaa had walked out of the movie, with some sources claiming that the actress was not keen in acting with the not-so-established Wayne. She has now come out with a clarification on the issue.
"I have recently come across some reports which claimed that I was not interested to act along with Sunny Wayne. It also hurt me to know that some of you have misunderstood me because of these unsourced news. My decision to drop out of the movie has nothing to do with Sunny Wayne being the lead. I chose to opt out of it because of some other issues," wrote Bhamaa on her Facebook page
Bhamaa shared that she was deeply disturbed by the rumours and requested her fans and the media to continue their support and not believe such gossip.
"I always wanted to do film with Sunny as he is a good actor and also a close friend of mine. I hope those who care for me would recognise these gossip mongers and continue their support to me," added the actress.
Sunny Wayne has been a popular actor since his first movie "Second Show" along with Dulquer Salman. The actor has given some notable performances in movies like "Annayum Rassolum", "Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi", "Chewing Gum", "Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal" and "Koothara."
Meera Nandan has now replaced Bhamaa to play the lead role, according to reports. The movie will also have Kavya and Sreelakshmi Sreekumar in pivotal roles.
Directed by Lenin, "Kranthi' is touted as a music-based movie that deals with social issues. The shooting of the movie is expected to kick start by December end in Thrissur.
