Indo-Canadian porn star turned actress Sunny Leone has reportedly been roped in for the sequel of "Welcome".
It is reported that Mallika Sherawat, who played Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar's love interest in the 2007 comedy, will not be reprising her role in the sequel.
If reports are to believed it is Malika's declining oomph factor that has landed the role to Bollywood's newest bombshell Sunny Leone.
Sunny Leone has already set the temperature soaring with her recently released "Laila" item song for "Shootout at Wadala".
"Mallika is busy doing her television show, and besides, the filmmakers felt that she isn't as popular as she was during the making of Welcome. Sunny's growing popularity on the other hand, works very well for the film," a source told Bollywood Mantra.
The sequel will also have John Abraham in the lead replacing Akshay Kumar.
Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that Leone's growing popularity has bagged her a staggering 5-crore deal for three films with Alumbra Entertainment.
Sunny Leone is presently busy shooting the sequel of "Ragini MMS" while Mallika Sherawat is busy with her television debut of the Indian version of 'The Bachelorette' reality show.
Recently, Mallika had posted some of her pictures in social networking site but they were no match for Leone whose popularity has been escalating over time.
