Sunny Leone, who will soon sizzle on the silver screen in Bobby Khan's "Ek Paheli Leela", is likely to set temperatures soaring.
In the film, Leone will be seen recreating Zeenat Aman's iconic look from "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" (1978). In the scene, the adult star-turned-actress is seen dressed in wet white sari.
Back then, Aman's look created a furore, when she took the bold step of shedding clothes on screen, breaking the image of stereotype Bollywood heroines.
However, unlike the yesteryear actress, who had gone topless in the film, Sunny won't be baring all.
"The way SSS captured Zeenatji's beauty was beautiful. When I bounced the idea off Sunny, she immediately approved. However, Sunny's look is more demure as compared to Zeenatji's bold topless avatar. Sunny would never go topless and neither would I let her. Our film has glamour but we've kept Indian sentiments in mind, which is why she wore a spaghetti top with her sari," Khan told Deccan Chronicle.
Apart from recreating Aman's look, the film also has the "Pink Lips" star dancing on a reworked version of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's hit song "Dholi Taro" from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam".
Written and directed by Khan and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, "Ek Paheli-Leela" has the "Baby Doll" star play different roles - a glamorous film star, a Rajasthani village woman and a princess.
The film also stars TV actor Jay Bhanushali and Rajneesh Duggal in pivotal roles. Leone's husband Daniel Weber also has a small cameo in the film.
The adult-star-turned-actress who mesmerised her fans with her bold performance in "Ragini MMS 2" and "Jism 2", will be seen enacting some bold scenes with her male lead actors.
Besides, "Ek Paheli Leela", Leone will next be seen in a double role in Milap Zaveri's sex comedy, "Mastizaade" that has Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor playing the male leads.
The gorgeous actress also has Devang Dholakia's "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai", in which she will be seen romancing Ram Kapoor.
