Sunny Leone has been quite a rage ever since she stepped foot in Bollywood, but unfortunately not everyone has been very welcoming of the former adult star.
According to recent reports, Hindi General Entertainment Channels (GECs) have apparently raised an objection against Sunny promoting her films on family channels. What doesn't add up is, the gorgeous actress' previous films were extensively promoted across channels.
Apparently, the channels have claimed that they do not have shows, which could accommodate erotic content.
"While most films are promoted on daily as well as reality shows, many GECs refused to let Sunny appear in them. They reasoned that they can't promote anything erotic on their family channels," Hindustan Times quoted a source as saying.
However, this isn't the first time that the beautiful lady drew flak for her past profession. There were reports of Kapil Sharma refusing to shoot episode with Leone on "Comedy Nights With Kapil". The differences were ironed out when he brought Ekta Kapoor and "Ragini MMS 2" together on the show.
More recently, Rakhi Sawant reportedly made a controversial comment by saying she has achieved heights by doing reality shows and item numbers, not porn films like Leone. Turns out, such vile statements do not affect the star a bit.
"People write all sort of crazy stories about me. I mean, every single day there's some crazy story about me. If I had started worrying about them, I would have probably packed my bags and left for the US already," she told HT in an interview.
In other news, Leone has Devang Dholakia's "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai" lined up for release. She will also be seen in Milap Zaveri's "Mastizaade" alongside Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das.
