Makers of Salman Khan's "Sultan" are still on the lookout for a suitable leading lady and the guessing game around this is getting interesting every minute.

That the team is looking for a fresh face is not news anymore. But, the names that have come up are not only surprising but also shocking.

"Bigg Boss 9" contestant Mandana Karimi and "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" participant Scarlett Wilson were said to have been vying for the role, but now a new name has emerged.

Salman has apparently suggested a name, Naaz, to Yash Raj Films.

"Salman introduced Naaz to Aditya Chopra. She has already auditioned for the role and is a strong contender," 9xe.com quoted a source as saying.

Earlier, Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra and Kriti Sanon were contenders for the role, but not anymore.

While Parineeti announced it on social media to rubbish the rumours, Deepika said she wasn't approached for it.

However, there were also reports which hinted at the Chopra girl's fitness photo-shoot being an audition for Salman's upcoming action-drama.

In other news, the superstar plays a 40-year-old wrestler in the film and has been following a strict workout regime to be in shape.

Scheduled for an Eid 2016 release, it may clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees".
