One may think it's Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's restored friendship that led to "Sultan" teaser being attached to "Fan," but it has more to do with Yash Raj Films, the production house that's funding both the films. The teaser will be out April 15.
"Breaking News: #Sultan teaser to be attached to the prints of #Fan. #SalmanKhan #SRK #15April2016 #YRF #MammothExpectations #CountdownBegins," Taran Adarsh tweeted Sunday.
But this isn't a first-time affair. There have been instances where both have collaborated to put out each other's work for people to see. "Raees" teaser was attached to "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Dilwale" trailer was released with "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo."
"Sultan," directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, has the superstar's fans thrilled. Salman's drastic physical transformation, rugged look and handle-bar moustache have kept people hooked. Anushka Sharma, who plays a wrestler too, has undergone extensive training sessions to perfect her part.
"When I have to look a certain way, I have to learn or train in a particular way. For example, I play a sportsperson in Sultan, so I'm training to gain mass and muscle — and it's mostly weight training now," she told DNA. She has been training with male wrestlers to understand the body-language.
However, the lead pair isn't just prepping to exchange blows, the two will film for romantic scenes soon. Also, they have an item number shoot coming up, which has apparently been composed by rapper Badshah and is choreographed by Farah Khan.
Scheduled for an Eid release, the action-drama may clash with SRK's "Raees."
