Salman Khan has spoken about "Dhoom 4." Although what he had to say was funny, those who have been wanting to see him essay a negative role are in for some disappointment.
"I don't know anything about 'Dhoom 4' because they have not asked me yet. If Abhishek and Uday hire all of those people to come and catch me then perhaps I might but then the climax would be very unfair. With me in 'Dhoom 4,' I would not run away or get killed like other people," Catch News quoted the superstar as saying.
However, Salman did some damage control by expressing an interest in working with Yash Raj Films in the future. He said: "I am just kidding, don't take this seriously. I would love to do another film with YRF if they have a script for me."
This comes close on the heels of reports claiming that the makers have zeroed in on America as their choice of shoot location. It was also being said that Salman would play a cool, stylish villain and romance "Befikre" actress Vaani Kapoor.
However, all the speculations around the fourth installment of the action-thriller franchise have now been laid to rest by the 50-year-old actor.
In other news, Salman is gearing up for next big release, which is with YRF. "Sultan" opens in theatres on July 7. The slightly senior actor will be seen essaying the role of a Haryana-based wrestler, Sultan Ali Khan, who battles his inner conflicts and opponents in the ring with equal finesse. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the sports-drama also features Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in key roles.
