The third instalment of action-thriller "Race" is in the making and the latest speculations doing the rounds could get people excited. Salman Khan is being considered for a negative role in the film.
Trade analyst Girish Johar announced the news on Twitter, confirming the same. "Super Exclusive !!! @BeingSalmanKhan may play a negative lead ...baddie in #Race3 ....DHAAAMAAAKAAA," he posted.
However, producer Ramesh Taurani denied the reports, saying "Race 3" is still in its scripting stage, further adding that the cast hasn't been decided upon. "Nothing has been finalised about 'Race 3' as it's still in scripting stage. Once the script is done we will finalise the actors. No actor has been finalised yet. 'Race 3' will go on floor by end of this year," he told Absolute India News.
Sure, the makers are yet to announce the cast, but Ramesh had once said that they would retain Saif for the third part. "Saif shall definitely be in the film, but the rest of the cast is yet to be decided," he had told the Indian Express.
In March, there were insiders who claimed that the team intends on sitting on the script for quite some time as they want to surprise the audience with great content. Obviously, action, thrill and romance will be an integral part of it.
Sources say director duo Abbas-Mustan has been replaced with choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D'Souza, who said he was in talks with Ramesh, but he isn't sure if the film he'll be directing for him would be "Race 3."
In other news, Salman is wrapping up final leg of "Sultan," in which he plays a Haryanvi wrestler. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial arrives in theatres on Eid and features Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in key roles.
