Yo Yo Honey Singh is not ready to make a comeback, and rapper Badshah is comfortably filling in for him. Earlier, there were reports of Honey composing a song for Salman Khan's "Sultan," but the "DJ Waley Babu" hit-maker seems to have replaced him.
According to a BollywoodLife report, the "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai" song will be the only peppy number in the action-drama, and will be used for promotions as well. The decision to rope in the desi hip-hopper was a last-minute one. Since, there has been no official announcement, this can, at best, be considered mere speculation.
Meanwhile, Farah Khan has been roped in to choreograph a romantic track featuring Salman and Anushka Sharma, the web portal reports. Although they play wrestlers in the film, there's a love story as well. Interestingly, Farah wasn't the first choice here: Vaibhavi Merchant was to choreograph the number, but she lost her father and had to step down.
"Sultan" releases on Eid this year and may clash with Shah Rukh khan's "Raees."
In other news, Badshah is enjoying the success of the song "Kar Gayi Chull" from "Kapoor and Sons." The party number, released a week ago, has gone viral and is topping charts. It has garnered over seven million hits on YouTube so far.
The video is a fun one with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt flaunting some fancy moves, but what really has people talking is the word "chull." "Chull means to tease or knock out. Basically, a girl who is so stunning that she drives you crazy," Badshah told Mid-Day a few days ago.
