Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma are gearing up for their first item song together in "Sultan." To be choreographed by Farah Khan, the makers are pulling out all stops to make it a grand one.
Anushka is a good dancer but hasn't flaunted her moves yet. She is thrilled to be doing the song and has been rehearsing at a Versova dance hall (Mumbai) for quite some time now. Contrary to what was reported earlier, it's a full-fledged dance number featuring 100 dancers and shot across a span of six days.
"A huge set has been set up at Film City in Sunil Maidan where a village of Punjab with havelis, etc have been constructed giving it an earthy, rustic feel. Everybody is YRF has been told not to talk about it at all so everything has been kept under wraps," a source told DNA.
Since it's a dance number, it requires to be upbeat and peppy. A few days ago, there were reports of "Kar Gayi Chull" singer Badshah being roped at the last minute to compose a special song for the action-drama. Titled "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai," the number will be used for promotional purposes, BollywoodLife reports.
In other news, the lead stars of the film are doing every bit to make their performances special. From fighting with real wrestlers and undergoing extensive training, both Salman and Anushka are making sure the put up their best. Scheduled for an Eid release, "Sultan" may clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees."
