Salman Khan has recorded his version of "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai," the "Sultan" song everyone is tapping their feet to. It was the superstar's idea to surprise the makers, but reports say that they may not be very pleased about it.
Although Filmfare didn't confirm if Yash Raj Films is unhappy with Salman's decision to croon the fun number all by himself (without keeping the team in loop), a line from their report states: "the racy track has the production house's hearts racing in another direction."
Salman's "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai," re-named as "Baby Nu Bass Pasand Hai," was recorded on his phone. Shalmali Kholgade's part was sung by the actor's rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur. Salman arranged the music and other things on his own, without even informing composers Vishal Dadlani-Shekhar Ravijani.
"We had no clue that Salman was planning something like this. Before flying to Budapest to shoot the song, he called and informed the YRF team that he had recorded the song on the phone and he was uploading it on Twitter. He had arranged everything himself, from the music to the recording. It was a complete surprise. Salman has added his own touch to the track, adding a few words to the track," a YRF insider told DNA.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" stars Anushka Sharma, Amit Sadh and Randeep Hooda in key roles. The sports-drama film focuses on Haryana-based champ wrestler Sultan Ali Khan who battles his inner conflicts and opponents in the ring with equal finesse. The film is scheduled to open in theatres on Eid.
