Sultan: Photos leaked of the set of Salman Khan-starrer

Some photos of the set of "Sultan" at Film City, Goregaon, in Mumbai, have been leaked. This set is currently under construction for the second schedule of the Salman Khan-starrer.

Recently, the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor wrapped up the first schedule of the flick which is set to release during Eid 2016. He will reportedly resume shooting soon after his 50^th birthday, which is on 27 December.

However, Mid Day has released some exclusive pictures of the set being prepared for the next leg of the shoot. Reportedly, Salman has taken a break from the shoot as he is not well.

After showing his softer side in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", Salman will be back in the action avatar with "Sultan". Produced by Yash Raj Films, it is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and will present Salman in the role of a wrestler from Haryana.

Meanwhile, "Kai Po Che"-fame Amit Sadh will play the younger version of Salman in "Sultan". Sadh had also been a contestant on Salman's show "Bigg Boss" Season 1, which was then hosted by Arshad Warsi.

In other news, Mandana Karimi, Scarlett Wilson and Naaz are some of the names that have been floating around for the role of the film's leading lady, but like every time, there's been no official announcement about this. Also, the recent buzz is that "Dilwale" actress Kriti Sanon turned down the offer of the lead actress.

There have been several rumours and speculations regarding "Sultan" since the beginning. Initially, the film was in news due to its release date which might clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" as both films are expected to hit the screens during Eid next year.

However, later, it was reported that the release date of "Sultan" had been postponed to Diwali 2016, but trade analyst Taran Adarsh slammed the reports on social media. "No, #Sultan is NOT postponed to Diwali 2016. Confirmed for Eid 2016. Which means, #Sultan [Salman Khan] versus #Raees [SRK] clash is on! (sic)" he tweeted.
