Parineeti Chopra, in the recently-released fitness photo shoot, is looking fierce and all ripped. While she may have marketed it as her journey to being strong, some are calling it an audition for Salman Khan's "Sultan".
According to reports, the leading lady apparently worked extra hard to get the desired physique for the Yash Raj Films' production. She knew she was in the running for a role in the film, which is why she decided on losing weight and looking fitter than before.
"She wanted to be a part of 'Sultan', and when she heard she may not make the cut, she worked extra hard. This photoshoot that she released was actually done for Sultan's audition and to prove she can play a wrestler. However, things didn't materialise," Bollywood Life quoted a source as saying.
However, this piece of news contradicts Parineeti's statement about she not being a part of the action-drama film a few days ago.
Interestingly, she isn't the first actress whose name has been associated with "Sultan". Earlier, Deepika Padukone was rumoured to have been signed for the film.
In other news, a leaked poster of Salman's film has been doing the rounds of social media. While some are calling it official, others have branded it as being fan-made.
Scheduled to release on Eid next year, the film may clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees".
