Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma are picture-perfect in the new poster of "Sultan." Contrary to what one would imagine, the on-screen couple isn't embracing each other with love, instead they are in their tracks and element.
Called Haryana Ka Sher (Khan) and Haryana Ki Shaan (Sharma), this Abbas Ali Zafar directorial is as much about wrestling as it is about their love story, DNA reports. The two will soon begin shooting for the romantic sequences.
Since the charming actress plays a wrestler and older than her age, she needed to embrace a de-glam look and the new poster is only proof of that. "Since she is also playing a wrestler in Sultan, her look will be more realistic or de-glam throughout the film. She doesn't need to look like a million bucks," the leading daily quoted a source as saying.
Meanwhile, the third schedule of the film is on track at the Yash Raj Films and ND studios, and Sharma is undergoing extensive training for her role. After wrapping up business in Mumbai, the cast and crew will take off to Punjab, where a few sequences are to be shot across the villages of Kila Raipur and Gujjarwal.
In other news, there have been reports of the film releasing on Sunday, July 3, which is strange considering how films almost always hit screens on a Friday. Also, the impending clash between "Sultan" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees," which was thought to have been avoided, is apparently happening. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani took to Twitter to rubbish the news as "rumour."
