Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi will soon collaborate on a film but the movie will feature the "Sultan" hero not as an actor but as the producer. According to recent reports, Salman has approached Emraan for an upcoming movie that will be produced by his production house, Salman Khan Films.
Reports said it will be a family-oriented movie, which will present Emraan in a never-seen-before avatar. "The film is in nascent stage and I think it is too early to talk about the same," Emraan told Catch News when asked about working with Salman.
The report further added that a team of writers is working on the script of the movie and that Emraan will allot the dates as soon as the script gets ready. Salman's last production venture, "Hero" (2015), had marked the acting debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
Both Salman and Emraan are currently busy with their respective upcoming movies. While the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor will be seen as a wrestler from Haryana in "Sultan," Emraan is ready to portray the real-life character of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in the biopic titled, "Azhar."
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" also features Anushka Sharma as a female wrestler. Amit Sadh will portray Salman's younger version in the film while Randeep Hooda will be seen as his wrestling coach.
"Azhar," on the other hand, will present Prachi Desai as the cricketer's first wife while Nargis Fakhri will play his second wife, former actress Sangeeta Bijlani. Emraan will also be seen in Vikram Bhatt's upcoming directorial venture, "Raaz 4."
